The votes are in!

 “Placement in Meaningful Employment” was the No. 1 ranked aspirational goal at the Career Readiness Collective Action Network meeting in January.

 That means our second Career CAN project will be built around placing more adults in living-wage positions in our community. I’m so excited to build this project with you.

·         Kickoff meeting and homework: On February 26, 3-4 p.m., we will have our first project planning meeting. Right now we’re calling the project “On-Ramps to Good Jobs” – read the attached Strada Institute white paper on inclusive career readiness strategies for inspiration (Thanks for sharing, Complete Florida!)

·         We will meet on the second floor of CareerSource Escarosa – Room 222. Use the “A” side entrance facing L Street.
